Description: This annual concert has a performance from each ensemble of Athenry Music School. The concert concludes with every single student in the school playing together, in our ‘MEGAOrchestra’. The MEGAOrchestra numbers over 400 music students and creates a truly amazing sound! This year’s concert marks 10 years since the founding of the school. It will include the the performance of a new piece, commissioned by the school from Scottish composer James Ross, in honour of the anniversary.

Rehearsal schedule: On the week beginning Monday May 1st, there will be no individual lessons. Instead there will be group rehearsals. All harp students are to attend THREE rehearsals:
- General rehearsal in Coláiste an Eachréidh: choose either Tuesday 2nd May 5-7pm or Wednesday 3rd May 5-7pm.
- Trad Dept. rehearsal: Wednesday 3rd May 7pm-8pm (we’ll run through Frances Power and the Golden Stud)
- Staging rehearsal in church, Thursday 4th May, 5-6pm
